Lemon Laws by Prestige Legal Solutions Featured in The Sacramento Bee

Recent amendments to California’s Lemon Law have introduced significant confusion for consumers, and our legal experts at Prestige Legal Solutions, P.C. are speaking out. In a recent article, our attorneys shared their professional insights on the new legislation that could impact the rights of vehicle owners across the state.

Attorney Armig Khodanian highlighted the problematic nature of the proposed fix, SB 26, stating, “It’s essentially being presented as a cleanup bill, but it’s just confusing things more and more.”

Adding to this, Attorney Michelle Yang criticized the process and the substance of the changes. She noted that the initial bill, AB 1755, was “improperly introduced.” Regarding the new amendment that allows automakers to opt in or out of the revised procedures, Yang stated it is essentially “allowing people to basically say I either want to comply under the law or I don’t.”
